Passport Fees

Passport application fees must be paid as a check or money order made payable to the U.S. Department of State. We do not accept credit cards. Separate checks or money orders are required for each passport application. The full name of the applicant, their date of birth and a phone number must be written on each check or money order.

Clerk’s Office acceptance fees may be paid as cash, check or money order made payable to the Morris County Clerk. We do not accept credit cards. A phone number must be written on all checks or money orders. Acceptance fees for a family may be combined on one check or money order.

Checks or money orders may not be post-dated or have the date altered in any way.

Expedited Processing

Expedited passports are currently taking 2 to 3 weeks to arrive. Please allow yourself sufficient time. Anyone requiring a passport sooner must schedule an appointment at a Regional Passport Agency by calling the National Passport Information Center at 1-877-487-2778.

• For adults 16 years of age and older, the required processing fees are a check or money order for $211.36 made payable to the U.S. Department of State along with $35.00 ($50.00 with photo) as cash, check or money order made payable to Morris County Clerk.

• For children 15 years of age and under, the required processing fees are a check or money order for $181.36 made payable to the U.S. Department of State along with $35.00 ($50.00 with photo) as cash, check or money order made payable to Morris County Clerk.
