Governor Murphy signed a Writ of Election on November 21, scheduling a Special Primary Election for the U.S. House of Representatives in the 11th Congressional District on Thursday, February 5, 2026.

Vote by Mail Ballots and Early Voting Now Available

As of 12/23, all Vote by Mail Ballots have been mailed to voters who have already applied or are set to automatically receive ballots for all future elections. Vote by Mail Applications must be received by Thursday, January 29, 2026 in order to receive a ballot through the mail.

In-office early voting by Vote by Mail Ballot is also available Monday through Friday, from 8:30 AM - 4:00 PM. In addition, we will have extended hours as follows:

  • Thursday, 1/15: 8:30 AM - 9:00 PM (registration deadline)
  • Tuesday, 1/27: 8:30 AM - 8:00 PM
  • Saturday, 1/31: 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM
  • Tuesday, 2/3: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM

The deadline to register to vote in the Special Primary Election is January 15, 2026.
